Based in New York City, Dyan Gershman is a corporate law professional with experience in areas such as M&A and contractual negotiations. With a commitment to her community, Dyan Gershman has volunteered with groups such as Habitat for Humanity and its programs that help build affordable housing for families of limited means.

One recent undertaking in Westchester County involved the renovation of a Jamaica single-family home. Bringing out Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) volunteers, the 114-11 130th St. project involved tasks such as laying floors and installing drywall. The property is located on the Interboro Community Land Trust, which was co-founded by Habitat Westchester and New York City. As a Habitat Net Zero residence, this home (and those that follow) will combine rooftop solar panels with efficient heat-pump technologies that dramatically reduce energy use and save homeowners money.

The Hilton Grand Vacations volunteer participation is within the scope of a broader HGV Serves program that encompasses home building and repair endeavors nationwide. With the HGV partnership in its third year, another ongoing project centers on the construction of 16 homes in Queens.
